Abstract

Objective With the development of high technology, there is an increasing amount of research on 3D bioprinting bioinks. However, many researchers have fallen into blind spots and are unaware of current research directions and hotspots. Therefore, the author conducts a systematic analysis of the bibliometric research status of 3D bioprinting bioinks to guide or assist researchers in taking the right path in scientific research.
Methods Based on the Web of Science core collection database, search and consult relevant literature in the field of 3D bioprinting bioink research from 2015 to 2025. Visual analysis of 232 literature using tools such as VOSviewer and CiteSpace.
Results The research shows an exponential growth trend, with an average annual growth rate of 32.36%; Forming three major research clusters of “materials, processes, and applications”; Nanocomposite bioink and vascularization construction have become cutting-edge hotspots.
Conclusion   3D bioprinting bioink is an important research field and hotspot worldwide, The results of this study will provide guidance and reference for researchers who are currently exploring 3D bioprinting bioinks.
