Randomized controlled study on the effect of Miao medicine Ma Sang Gou Bang Scraping oil in treating chronic lumbar myofascial pain with cold-damp syndrome
苗药马桑狗帮油刮痧治疗寒湿型慢性腰肌劳损的随机对照研究

摘要

目的 评价苗药马桑狗帮刮痧油刮痧治疗寒湿型慢性腰肌劳损的临床疗效及安全性，为该特色疗法的临床推广提供证据支持。方法 选取60例寒湿型慢性腰肌劳损患者，随机分为治疗组和对照组各30例。治疗组采用苗药马桑狗帮油作为刮痧介质，对照组采用普通刮痧油，两组操作方法、疗程一致，均治疗3次（间隔5天1次），疗程结束后1个月随访。比较两组治疗前后视觉模拟评分（VAS）、Oswestry功能障碍指数（ODI）、症状积分、体征积分及临床疗效、疗效稳定率。结果 两组治疗后各评分均较治疗前显著降低（P<0.05）；治疗3次后两组各评分比较无统计学差异（P>0.05）；随访1个月时，治疗组VAS评分[1.00（0.00，1.00）vs1.00（1.00，2.00）]、ODI评分[3.00（2.00，3.25）vs3.00（3.00，5.00）]、症状积分[2.00（1.00，2.25）vs2.00（1.75，5.00）]均低于对照组（P<0.05），总有效率（100.0%vs90.0%）、疗效稳定率（90.0%vs66.7%）均高于对照组（P<0.05）。两组均未发生明显不良反应。结论 苗药马桑狗帮油刮痧治疗寒湿型慢性腰肌劳损疗效确切，远期疗效优于普通刮痧油，且安全性高，适合基层推广应用。

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Miao medicine Ma Sang Gou Bang Scraping oil for cold-damp chronic low back muscle strain, providing evidence for the clinical promotion of this characteristic therapy.
Methods Sixty patients with chronic lumbar muscle strain of cold dampness type were selected and randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group, with 30 patients in each group. The treatment group received Gua therapy using Miao medicine Ma Sang Gou Bang Scraping oil，while the control group used conventional scraping oil. The operation method and treatment course were identical for both groups, with three sessions administered at five-day intervals. Follow-up was conducted one month after the completion of the treatment course. Visual analog scale (VAS), Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), symptom scores, sign scores, clinical efficacy, and efficacy stability rate were compared between groups.
Results Post-treatment, all scores in both groups were significantly lower than baseline (P < 0.05). After three treatment sessions, no significant differences were observed between the groups (P > 0.05). At one-month follow-up, the treatment group had lower VAS [1.00 (0.00, 1.00) vs 1.00 (1.00, 2.00)], ODI [3.00 (2.00, 3.25) vs 3.00 (3.00, 5.00)], and symptom scores [2.00 (1.00, 2.25) vs 2.00 (1.75, 5.00)] compared with the control group (P < 0.05). The total effective rate (100.0% vs 90.0%) and efficacy stability rate (90.0% vs 66.7%) were also higher in the treatment group (P < 0.05). No significant adverse reactions occurred in either group.
Conclusion   Miao medicine Ma Sang Gou Bang Scraping oil is effective for cold-damp chronic low back muscle strain, with superior long-term efficacy compared to conventional Gua oil and a high safety profile, making it suitable for promotion in primary healthcare settings.
