Abstract

This article aims to explore the importance and feasibility of carrying out health promotion work in physical examinations. Physical examination is an important means of early detection and prevention of diseases, but relying solely on the results of physical examination cannot fully guarantee an individual's health. Therefore, carrying out health promotion work in physical examinations, including health education, health counseling, health management, and other aspects, can help individuals better understand their own health status, master health knowledge, change bad lifestyle habits, improve health literacy, and thus prevent diseases and extend life expectancy. In addition, the specific content and implementation methods of health promotion work were introduced, and suggestions and measures for carrying out health promotion work were proposed. By carrying out health promotion work, more comprehensive and effective services can be provided for individual health protection, and contributions can also be made to the healthy development of society. Therefore, it is recommended to strengthen the implementation of health promotion work in physical examinations, improve individual health awareness and literacy, and promote the health progress of the entire society.
